Kamila Solarz is a photographer rooted in quiet observation and a deep sensitivity to space and presence. Based in Barcelona, her practice moves between analog and digital formats, with a focus on capturing the subtle interplay between people, spaces, and objects. With a refined sense of composition and a sensitivity to light, Kamila creates images that feel both intentional and instinctive. Her work is defined by its tranquil precision—minimal, tactile, and emotionally resonant. Each image invites stillness and attention. Nature, architecture, art, and the human presence coexist in a quiet dialogue where every element has its place. Kamila regularly collaborates with artists, designers, and brands. The Cycles series reflects the most personal and poetic side of her practice.
Cycles explores transformation as continuous movement. Over several months, Kamila observed different flower species in the studio, returning daily to witness their unfolding and fading, translating these transformations into delicate, layered prints on delicate Japanese kozo paper, 7,3 g/m². Fragile, translucent, and sensitive to light and touch–echoing the flower itself.
